We found this beautiful young little Western Skink in our neighborhood and decided to take a few quick pictures with it before releasing it again.  It was very relaxed and even fell asleep on my warm fingertip.

I love how the colors on your eye matches the skink's colors!  Whether it was intentional or coincidental, it's pretty awesome.  The skinks we have down in Florida would never hold still like that.  It's usually a mad chase into the palms or wood piles at my grandparents with a 1/50 chance of success.  :lmao:
