Return to Mad World by Temperate-Sage Return to Mad World by Temperate-Sage
Edit: Yes, there is some inspiration from "Alice in Wonderland" in this one. ;)

Taken near the same location of a past image in my gallery. This is a new hoop skirt dress I built. I am in LOVE with it. XD But it might be up for sale soon, because I can't keep everything. *sigh*

Superb job with the dress and picture as a whole.

Some very clear inspiration without having been derivative and the pose and expression are begging us to ask questions of who, where and what.

Its not overly cluttered nor to sparse and the eye is drawn to the model and then is lead to follow the lines of the trees and plans all while wondering that has or has not been edited as I cannot tell.

As for impact the contrast of the vibrant colours of the dress in a sea of reds and greys (yet not without contrast) gives it a wonderful effect.

So first I would like to say that this is my first critique on deviantart, and I can be wrong. I think the place where you took the picture is perfect, looks like it was taken from a fantasy I really like it. About the dress I think it could be better (this is only my opinion of course) I think a brown corset would give the dress a more natural look and a better color balance (so that the dress wouldn't be all blue). I like the shoes, they give a girly and an elegant look at the same time (just like "Alice" was x)). But in the end i love that photo you did a great job :).

Thank you very much! I try to get out to some pretty fun locations!  Though the colors in this one are Photoshopped, greens to reds, I have just found ways to do it very carefully so that it still looks real and immersive. ;)

Another fabulous dress. You look adorable! Definitely has an 'Alice' look about it. You could co-star in another of her adventures...lol
