I totally forgot about this gem of a photograph. It was hiding away amoungst the thousands we took at the coast!

First of all, I'd like to congratulate you on this mesmerising photo. Utterly beautiful. Secondly, I'd like to add a critique, which is what I'm doing. Now, my first impression of this picture was "Wow, that place looks amazing." This was because of the great, sharp green colours and misty background. The green seems to add an air of mystery and magic, as if it's a fairy tale forest. The misty-haze conveys a sort of prolonged journey which can't be completed, almost a sense of despair. I really like the large imposing tree in the foreground, and then the stump adjacent to it; that, to me, feels inspiring. As you can see, both trees probably were the same height once, yet the seeming death of one was conquered, and now it's rising from the ashes! Very inspiring, and brilliant. Oh, before I go I'd like to add: is that someone's (or something's) head in the bushes on the right? If so, spooky. Great picture and great accomplishment.
