Another picture of the hand dyed silk dress I made with my mother. It was a week long 7 hour a day duel effort to make this piece and oh the gathers were a hell. We spent 24 hours figuring out haw to keep the gathers from sinking.
This dress is not for sale but others are here: [link] and jewelry here: [link]

Stunning dress, it's complex and so elegant! So happy you two fingered out how to do it as this is a real treat to see! Amazing skills you and your mom have :3 The colors are stunning too, I love the rich red with that brown. Great work to your hubby and your modeling skills too!
Oh my goddess, that dress is just amazing. I am astounded that you made it, and i can tell you put a LOT of effot in it. Just stunning. You look so beautiful in it. And the way the wind is picking the bottom up in the picture is quite breathtaking.
Thank you very much! It was one of my first big effort dresses, a lot of hell and fun went into it. The wind in the image is actually an illusion, I pulled up the skirt of the dress, let go of it and then hid my hand again to get the illusion of wind in the shots. Some of the attempts looked nice like this and others were a little unnatural. XD
Do you sell your dresses? If so i would be interested in buying one or two, they're so pretty! And that's amazing, i honestly thought it was just good timing, it really does look like the wind caught it at just the right moment.
I do sell dresses, though I don't have many up for sale at the moment. You can click through the links in the artist comment section on this piece to see my shops.
