This image is the start of an adventure for me, because for the next year and hopefully beyond, I want to spend time exploring my portrait photography and go places I have never gone before with it. 

We have this big historical tree in a park close to our house and I have always wanted to shoot around it. I thought it would be fun to make a silhouetted portrait underneath its massive form. This pose by my spouse, Sean Parker caught me because it represented exploration and curiousity. 

So let the adventure begin!
